The Research in Anglo-American Literature, Culture and Linguistics Conference for Postgraduate and Early-Career Scholars aims to provide a forum for postgraduate and postdoctoral researchers working on all aspects of English Studies (literature, cultural studies, language and linguistics). The conference is organized by the University of Salamanca and the University of Valladolid, and is intended to provide opportunities to share developing research projects, and gain feedback in an open and welcoming environment that may enhance the postgraduate research experience. Participants are welcome to outline the basis of their research and present well-developed “works in progress”.
We invite proposals for individual papers addressing any aspect of Anglo-American Studies. We also welcome proposals for fully comprised panels of three or four papers and roundtable discussions.
The official language of the conference is English.
Please submit a 250-300-word abstract that can later be developed into a 15-20 minute presentation. The deadline for proposals is May 15, 2016. Proposals must be sent to one of the following addresses:
Acceptance will be notified by email by June 12.
